Specs of position: Team leader; Assist the case manager and PR person; Main contact for group functions (meetings, classes, events, etc.).
Experience: Years of experience investigating paranormal phenomena... and even longer interest. I started out on my own, and then joined a couple reputable organizations over the years. After that, I was back on my own and now I lead my own group. I have
experience with investigating houses, buildings, cemeteries, and a variety of urban legends and myths. I am also getting more into UFO investigations.
Areas of expertise: All around, I have good knowledge of everything. In doing this for this long, I learned to be my own worst critic. I believe I have a very keen sense of what is the real thing from a fake I would say my expertise lies in photography and EVP work. Also with EMF.

Shannon Overland
Position: Research and Investigator
Experience: Shannon has been fascinated by the paranormal for many years, only to have it repressed by friends and family due to religious dogma. In 2005 she began to merge her beliefs with her interests and a year later made an important step forward at the suggestion of her sister, by joining Haunted Hillsdale, a paranormal investigation group in South-Central Michigan. In 2006, Shannon became a founding member of the League of Extraordinary Paranormal Women which highlights and encourages women in the paranormal field and in the last year, has become involved with SMPI, as well. Shannon is interested in world travel, having toured extensively throughout Europe and residing in Norway for a period of time. She is a Certified Music Teacher and was involved in the Hillsdale Community Theater from 1994 to 2007, both acting and directing. Shannon wishes to thank her sister and best friend, Beth, for encouraging her to find her own truth.

Amie Fournier-Flather
Position: Investigator and Web Mistress
Specs of position: Assist on investigations; Learn to use/set up equipment; Work out bugs on the website and keep it updated with any information, photos, etc. that are sent to me. Send me your interesting picture and you could be featured on our Photo of the Month section!
Experience: Three years on semi-formal investigative work. I have been interested in the supernatural for as long as I can remember which led me to this area of interest. My semi-formal investigative work has been in cemeteries, private homes and on state land. I have mostly worked on investigations on a spiritual level and I have branched out my talents a lot along the scientific lines this past year working with SMPI.
Areas of expertise: Debunking things on film (digital, 35mm or other) and being a goofball.

Experience: Years of knowledge with UFO's and related phenomena. I have a broad knowledge of paranormal activity and great spiritual knowledge of paranormal related topics.
Amy Williamson

Experience: Relatively new to paranormal investigating. I am currently working on my own project, Haunted Hillsdale - a film documentary on the haunted history in and around Hillsdale county. SouthMiPi is helping us with our endeavors here.
Aly O'Meara

Experience: I've been involved with paranormal activity my whole life and new to group researching. I have checked out local restaurants and cemeteries as a hobby for a couple of years now, hoping it would lead me to bigger things and new friends with the same interests. Alas....it has! I am excited to start going out with the group and exploring different places and different cases. I'm anxious about gaining some experience with equipment too. I enjoy learning more about the 'unexplained' and helping people cope with upsetting issues related to paranormal activity.
Wendy Needham
Position: Investigator
Specs of position: Main contact to set up investigations; work with Founder/Lead investigator to arrange functions of the group. Assist on investigations.
Experience: I have been interested in the paranormal most of my life. I am relatively new to the scientific aspect of the paranormal. I have had several of my own experiences. Some of them a bit scary, some of them Amazing. I once had a Spirit save my life. To long of a story to share here though. I'm Clairvoyant and from time to time I find myself talking to spirits. Again sometimes it's been scary and sometimes it's amazing. I would suggest to anyone who is going through this themselves to learn to shield! Always be aware of your surroundings. And trust your instincts. I strive to learn more each day and to become more intone with my abilities.
Areas of expertise: I've known Scott for a few years and I have been working with the group for about a year or more. I have been studying the paranormal for about 4 years now. I'm starting to learn about demonology and demons (as some call them) as well. I prefer to call them malevolent entities. But not an area I think I will ever be an export at. I am able to feel spirits and often see them as well. I have from time to time used my Reiki to help them find there way "home" As some might call it.
I wouldn't call it an area if expertise. But I also have very vivid dreams that from time to time come true. And most of them show me things to look for.
I have had lots of experience with things outside the norm. I'm always happy to discuss my experiences, and I'm hoping that some of the things I have gone through will also help others I meet along the way.
