More often than not, a person will investigate an area and, as investigators do, they will take a lot of photos. Many times there is nothing there. In other words, there is no apparition of any kind or there is actually nothing there. You end up with a completely black and possibly blank photo. In this section we hope to provide you with it all - the good, the bad and the ugly.
Pictures
In this photo we get two examples rolled into one of things to look for in photos. There was some humidity in the air this night and this caused a moisture orb to appear. There were also a lot of bugs. They do not generally come out so bug-shaped - usually glowing spots -but there is no mistaking this bug for what it is!
Audio/EVPs
EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenon. EVP is the attempt to capture a ghost or spirits voice on audio recording equipment. Typically there is no voice heard to the people present in the recording but after reviewing the recordings some extraordinary voices and/or sounds are recorded.
These are a few EVPs captured at a private investigation where another team (Haunted HIllsdale) invited some members of our team to give them a hand. It was an interesting time - that is for sure! Put on your headphones, turn up thevolume and click on the speaker icon to the left of each description.
This was recorded near the beginning of the investigation. There were four investigators in the area: two male, two female. No one was whispering.
Present when this was recorded were two female investigators who had just entered the basement.
Present when this was recorded were two female investigators and again this occurred in the basement. The EVP itself is cut short by the note of one of the investigators that there was a cold spot behind her. The investigator was about 2 feet away from the recording device.
Present when this was recorded were two female investigators present. A moment after this, one of the investigators notes a cold spot (that bit is cut off of the recording to preserve space here).
